Green Thumb

I haven’t always been good at gardening or plant keeping.  Even after years of figuring out what works, what grows, which window to put plants in… I still kill a good share.  ☹

It’s almost Spring ✨ !! Daylight Savings Time is this weekend and soon the days will grow warm enough to plant, outdoors!  This excites me.  I love the smell of dirt and having the beauty of flowers and greenery that I helped bring to all its glory.   The bugs I could do without, but we seem to get along for the most part.

My indoor plants have had some sunshine time and I can almost hear their sighs of relief that Winter has passed.

“The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just on the body, but the soul.”

  1. I have a black thumb when it comes to plants. I was having a good go with succulents and then Phee dumped the soil out onto/into my sewing machine when she was two, so that was the end of having plants. 😀 We are hoping to move this year and incorporate some plants into our new home!
